GROUND UP needs your Nova photos!
Congratulations to Rick from Connecticut, your car will be featured as Ground Up’s 2008 Camaro cover car!
It's that time of year again. The 2008 Ground Up Camaro and Nova catalogs will be going to print soon and we need cover cars!
Here is what we're looking for:
We need frontal shots of your Camaro or Nova. We prefer 1967 or 1968 Camaros and 1966 or 1967 Novas for this years catalog cover, but all other years will be considered. (see our photo requirements below)
We are also in need of photos of "junk cars" for promotional materials. These photos can include cars found in barns, yards, the woods, or any other "before restoration" images.
Why do we want photos of your cars?
At Ground Up, we consider ourselves a part of the muscle car community just like you. We try to involve our customers as much as we can. We like to show images of real cars from people like you to help inspire other people who are ready to take on projects of their own (to show that it CAN be done)!
What will you get?
All photos will be considered. If your photo is selected to appear on our Ground Up catalog cover, we will send you a free Ground Up T-shirt and your name will be acknowledged in our catalog so everyone knows who took the photo. Plus, you car will be seen by fellow muscle car enthusiasts all over the world!
Photo Requirements:
All photos must be high resolution digital images of at least 5 x 7 inches at 300 dpi (5 mega pixels or more are usually enough on your digital camera).
Photo Tips:
- Try to avoid using a flash to take your photos to help reduce glare.
- Early morning, late afternoons, and overcast days are good times to take photos to reduce shadows, glare, and reflections.
- We have provided sample images on this page that you can refer to.
