Jeremy W’s 1968 Camaro

Built From The Ground Up

Jeremy W’s 1968 Camaro

This 1968 Camaro took its current shape from the remains of three parts cars that Jeremy W. purchased back in 2002 when he was just a teenager. He chose to restore a Camaro because his father had been driving and restoring them since before he was born.

The search began when Jeremy was just 14 years old. The pair had tracked down three parts Camaros, and they lucked out with one of them being a true Rally Sport vin shell. With the three vehicles acquired, the pair began disassembly of the bodies and cutting of rusted sheet metal to make one Camaro whole.

The project spanned 4 years, but by the time Jeremy was 18 years old, the two had a full roadworthy ’68 Camaro to enjoy. Every year Jeremy tackles an additional project on the Camaro, whether it be something simple or a large rehaul, he keeps the project going. It’s a tradition that he plans to maintain.

“This car is very close to me because of the bond it formed between me and my father. No money will ever be able to justify the selling of this car based on sentimental value alone.”

Jeremy

As it currently sits, this ’68 has a 350/355hp small block bored .60 over, a comp cam, Holley 750 CFM carburetor, and an Edelbrock Performer intake.
