Here is Ben’s 1969 Camaro RS/SS. We’ll let Ben tell the story just how it happened:
“I started with a body shell 4-1/2 years ago, and after spending a lot of time and money, finally have a very nice car. This is probably the last of a long line of cars I have restored, since it is a little more difficult these days, at my age of 55, being 6’3 and 260 lbs., to crawl around inside of a trunk to do repair and detail work! I like to attend shows, but really enjoy the ride to and from the show, especially out of town, more than the actual show itself!”

With a big block, auto, tilt steering, power windows, rear defogger, and a nice white Houndstooth interior, we wouldn’t mind the ride either! The Camaro must sound great through that chambered exhaust as well!
While we do help to restore a lot of “trailer queen” cars here, Ben’s is the perfect example of what muscle cars are all about; Beautiful looks, awesome performance, and the enjoyment that comes from DRIVING them!
Having a beautiful ’69 Camaro like Ben’s is one thing, but just getting out and using it to enjoy the open road as he does is an experience in itself!
