This 1973 Nova SS hatchback was doomed to be a lawn ornament until Frank S. stumbled on it in someone’s backyard in 2012. Luckily, Frank had a vision for the hatchback and took it upon himself to restore it over the next three years.
The engine has been swapped in favor of a Dart 406 small block coupled to a Tremec TK-600 5-speed transmission, making approximately 580 hp.
Frank also had a custom two-tone interior installed along with AutoMeter gauges and a custom console to complete the look on the inside. On the outside, the 1973 Nova was resprayed in Huntington Blue Pearl, which helps it stand out at car shows.
