Philip had always wanted a 1971 Chevelle when he was younger, so when he finally had the chance to get one, he did exactly that.
After purchasing this 1971 Chevelle, Philip spared no expense acquiring new parts for the restoration and had everything painstakingly redone. It was taken down to bare metal, full body work performed, and it was re-painted in gloss black with silver striping. Next came all new exterior items from Ground Up SS396.com to put the finishing touches on the project.
This Chevelle rolls on 20-inch BZO Hummers to match the paint scheme. A custom stereo system was installed with a flip-out screen integrated into the dash.
This is Philip’s second restoration under his belt, the first being a 1967 Impala fastback. Now that the 1971 Chevelle has been completed, Philip plans on resto-modding a 1969 Camaro for his next project.
This is one serious ride Philip, can’t wait to see your ’69 Camaro project. -Team Ground Up
