Another father/son project, Trevor picked up this 1970 Nova back in 2014 as a project for him and his father. It has since undergone a complete restoration.
The intended goal was for Alan to educate his son as far as what it takes to see a project through. They would both go on to learn quite a bit from the experience and from each other.
“It was a fun and a sometimes frustrating project that I would do over again!”
Alan
This 1970 Nova project entailed replacing almost every sheet metal panel on the Nova, as well as a complete rewire of the car. This step was necessary as the pair chose to swap in a junkyard 5.3 LS engine which they mated up to an old Muncie 4 speed transmission.
The plan moving forward is to simply enjoy the hard work they put into the build and drive the fruits of their labor.
