Frank S’s 1978 Nova

Built From The Ground Up

Frank S’s 1978 Nova

Frank had this 1978 Nova shipped to him from Fresno, CA in 2011.

He bought it to replace his previous ’78 Nova project because his now ex-wife destroyed it in 2009. What makes this Nova unique in this day and age is that it’s powered by the original 250ci inline six.

“I like inline sixes in these cars and that’s what I was looking for as a replacement.”

Frank

Frank’s very first car was a 1975 Nova and he fell in love with the later generation Novas as a result. He’s owned several of these Novas over the years, this example being the latest. He says that he prefers the ’78 over the ’75-77 models because GM redesigned the seat belts for the 78 model year, making them much better. He eventually plans on converting to factory bucket seats from the stock bench.

"Location near me for shipping costs."
