Stacy built this custom 1967 Nova because the paint on their previous ’67 wasn’t up to their expectations. This car was intended to be bigger, badder, and better than the last in every way.
Originally sold in Canada, this 1967 Nova is actually quite unique in that it came equipped with a few options that were not found on the domestic variety. One easily noticed difference are the bright chrome pot metal tail light bezels that the US version doesn’t share.
Stacy’s Nova is equipped with a full Church Boys Racing suspension front to back, DSE mini tubs, and is surprisingly powerful under the hood. It’s been swapped to a supercharged LS9 and is apparently the only Nova running such a setup with a stock sheet metal front clip.
It is currently making about 800hp and is rowed via a Tremec TR6060 6-speed attached to a 9 inch rear end out back. Stacy plans to bring it to the next Hot Rod Power Tour event.
