Tom N’s 1966 El Camino

Built From The Ground Up

Tom N’s 1966 El Camino

Tom and his wife were recently at a garage sale when she spotted this 1966 El Camino for sale, she fell in love with it almost immediately.

This El Camino has had a full frame off restoration, yet still retains the original 327 / 300 horsepower engine, quite rare indeed. Power is applied by a TH350. The previous owner held onto this El Camino for the last 16 years before parting with it to Tom & his wife.

What makes the restoration of this El Camino custom is the liberty that was taken with the paintjob and shaved door handles, not to mention the trick wooden bed floor.

So far, the plans are to take it for leisurely drives and enjoy the ride.

"A very descriptive catalog and a catalog/website that's easy to navigate."
