In 2017 David and his grandson went to his father’s shop where a friend had been storing this 1970 Camaro. When they arrived the pair fell in love with the car.
It turns a lot more heads than a new one.

A year later David’s grandson returned from Marines boot camp, unfortunately he went on to commit suicide shortly afterwards. David and his wife had the opportunity to purchase this 1970 Camaro and decided to do it in their grandson’s memory.
This is a factory Z28/RS 4-speed Camaro with 52k original miles. The car came with a heavily built small block 350 on a 150 shot of nitrous, but the original motor also came along with the purchase. As this is drivable “out of the box” David plans to keep it running as is, but he can get his restoration fix with a 1971 Camaro RS that he also owns which does need to be built.
He does eventually plan on fixing certain things about the Camaro that were a result of being owned by a kid in the ‘70s.
Since purchasing the Camaro, he has found the original build sheet and discovered that it was ordered by the local Chevrolet dealership in his nearby area.
