Doug performed a full rotisserie rebuild on this 1967 Camaro SS350 between 09/00-06/01, turning it into a dedicated show car. This Camaro has gone on to win many awards in it’s day and has seen several revisions in the time since the original restoration.
In 2005 Doug installed a 383 stroker engine paired to an automatic 3-speed with a high stall converter and manual valve body. The Camaro could be seen running the drag strips in MN & WI for the next 5 years before he picked up another 1968 Camaro to turn into a dedicated dragster.
This 1967 has recently been completely redone from the top to bottom as a restomod daily driver now that Doug has the other Camaro. He kept the 383 stroker, but swapped out the 3-speed auto for a 6-speed T56 Tremec from a 2013 Camaro SS instead. The suspension has been completely upgraded and lowered by 2-1/2 inches, and he sourced 4 piston disc brakes for all four corners.
Aesthetically this 1967 Camaro has received a fresh paint job, tinted factory glass with power windows, shaved door handles, and an LED lighting conversion everywhere he could. It currently wears a set of 315/35ZR17s on the rear in the mini tubbed wells and 285/50ZR17s up front to match.
“I built this car completely on my own in a 26’x36′ garage. paint & all! I love to drive it and see all the heads turning & thumbs ups!”

He plans to continue to daily drive and enjoy it for many years to come.
