Gerry & Gina saw a Chevy II 1963 Nova in a Good Guys magazine.
They have a friend that works on cars, and they told him if he ever came across a Chevy II 1963 Nova to let them know. The friend responded that he just sold one a week ago. Then he contacted the new owner to see if he would sell it to Gerry and Gina. A week later, the new owner sold it to them.
This 1963 Nova is a full 3 year Ground Up restoration, they installed a new fuel-injected 327 performance engine from Performance Unlimited. Then mated it with an E60 4L transmission with overdrive. A Currie posi rear end with 370 gears. Installed MSD electronics and a large BE Cool Radiator.
His wife was instrumental in designing the interior. The side moldings were laser jetted aluminum, and the chrome grille guard made a special touch to the front. A custom paint job from Koteen Customz. They have 4 wheel power assist disc brakes. Installed Dougs Headers with dual exhaust and Flowmaster 40 mufflers. Also installed a new Dakota Digital instrument panel. It is a rust-free NM car and garaged for 25 years before restoration.
They love to cruise in their 1963 Nova. It draws a lot of attention. They have entered 9 judged car shows and have won 8 1st places. One of the shows was at a ford dealership, and they insisted that all Chevys were to park in the back, and we did not place in that show. Future plans are to enjoy cruising and going to car shows.
