Andrew found this 1972 Chevelle while he was buying a motorcycle tour pack from a guy. The car was in his garage, and Andrew asked if he’d be interested in selling it, and to let him know.
Andrew waited 2 months and still didn’t hear anything back from the guy. So he decided to give him a call. When he did, he asked if he considered selling it and his offer to buy the 1972 Chevelle.
He told him to stop by to discuss it and he would make a decision that day. Well, he stopped by and they discussed it. He hauled the 1972 Chevelle home that day.
The engine is a 383 Stroker motor, and the transmission is a 350 turbo with a 3.73 12 bolt rear end. He made some modifications which are Alden coil-over shocks, Umi a-arms, and torsion bars.
The wheels are 17” in the front and 18” in the rear.
A nice story behind the car was it was saved from the crusher at a salvage yard in Phoenix, AZ in 1992 and restored. The restoration was finished a year later in 1993.
He plans on installing an M-20 Muncie 4 speed to get it back to its original transmission.
