Michael bought this 1971 Chevelle from a friend for the drivetrain and nothing else. Every body panel was hit at some point, and the trunk and rear sail panel rotted through. It was a sport coupe, it had bucket seats, and a floor shifter.
The frame was surprisingly clean with no rust, floor pans were clean as well. He then went about replacing every body panel with the exception of the roof.
The 1971 Chevelle engine is a pretty much a stock LS 5 turbo 400 transmission.
Nothing really rare when he built this 1971 Chevelle SS tribute he tried to be as accurate as possible. Aside from the custom dash, it has restored factory wheels and a full-function cowl induction hood.
He would at some point like to change it over to a 4-speed, but his wife can only drive an automatic.
