Scott H’s 1971 Chevelle

Built From The Ground Up

Scott H’s 1971 Chevelle

Scott’s friend had purchased the Chevelle for his wife years ago to add to their collection of muscle cars. Scott had asked if they ever had plans to sell it, that he would be interested in it. Four years later he purchased it!

The Chevelle has a numbers matching LS5. He had the carb rebuilt but other than that it’s stock. The tranny is a TH400 that he also had gone thru. Period correct but numbers indicate it was from a Monte Carlo.

The only thing was the original paint was cracked badly, so it was stripped down and repainted to the original color. The car did not have one speck of rust either. It’s an original AC car, so he’s looking for a functioning compressor as the original is frozen tight.

Scott likes to go to local shows and enjoy his ride!

"Good! You had what I was looking for in stock."
