A C. Kile’s 1969 Nova

Built From The Ground Up

A C. Kile’s 1969 Nova

A C. Kile bought this 1969 Nova off of craigslist. It had been parked in a garage in 1986 and not moved until he purchased the car in 2016.

The previous owner had purchased NOS parts over the years planning on restoring the car but never got to it.

The car has a 396/375hp engine and a Tremec TKX 5-speed transmission. The engine has 1969 date-coded Winters Foundry aluminum heads.

This 1969 Nova was a factory black on black L78 4 speed, bucket seat, console with gauges, 12 bolt 3:55 rear end. The car still retains the original back seat, dash pad, radiator, alternator, distributor, rear end, and gear set.

He plans to drive and enjoy showing it to other enthusiastic car lovers.

"My experience with Ground Up has been good and have purchased parts for three restoration projects."

-A C. Kile
