Albert’s wife specifically ordered this 1966 Chevelle from a dealer in Shamokin, PA way back in 1966. They still have the original bill of sale from years ago.
As years went by, the 1966 Chevelle got older and needed repairs Unfortunately, they didn’t have the funds to do so. Luckily, it was kept in storage by relatives and friends over the years. Until 2017, when his wife retired.
It was then they decided to use their 401k to have it restored. They chose Posies, Hummelstown, PA on advice from a friend. They did a total restoration on the 1966 Chevelle. They removed the body from the frame and replaced it with OEM parts where available. The result was a car that is nicer than the day his wife picked it up from the dealer.
The 1966 Chevelle’s engine is the original 283, 2 barrel, 4-speed engine from the factory. Nothing was changed to make it different than the original when they did the restoration. Nothing special other than it is an awesome car!
They plan on cruising through retirement in the Chevelle. When the ride is over it will be in the will for their daughter, who is a car nut too.
