Anthony actually tried buying this 1977 Chevelle in 2010 and the owner changed his mind about selling it, in between losing that one and Gaining another Chevelle SE out of the blue Anthony owned that one for a few years, and in 2016 the previous pair came for sale again when the owner passed away, long story short he now owns two Chevelle SE and one is being restored by himself and his oldest daughter as a graduation present from High school with 3.5 GPA, The sentimental value lies in his love for these cars and the friendship Anthony had with the previous owner of them.
The Engine is a 305c.i. from the factory that can’t get out of its own way going downhill. So, his daughter and himself took it out then Anthony installed the 454 that he built while on oxygen from covid from Feb 2021 to August 2021. So, a few days before thanksgiving Anthony installed the 454 and has been working hard at it ever since. He also got rid of the swivel seats in favor of the 1977 Gran Prix seats front and rear. The Next add-ons he will be doing are a Yukon Posi w/ 3.42 gears and UMI Performance upper / lower trailing arms for the rear, Impala SS Sway bar, and ion front will also get the trans am sway bar.
There were only 50 Made through a dealership in Wichita Kansas and all the modifications were done by Special Editions Inc. in Wichita. Also, they got front/rear spoilers special stripe package and western Turbine II Wheels with 60 series tires.
Anthony plans to get it all wired and tagged for daily driver use AFTER PAINT THAT IS!
