In 2015 this 1967 Camaro came up for sale by one of Bob’s neighbors. He’s owned Camaros in the past but has had to sell them off while raising his family. He’d been looking to get into another for a few years when this one popped up literally down the street.
While the body work was done correctly on this 1967 Camaro, Bob says that pretty much everything else was a mess. He has had quite a lot to fix over the past 4 years, but the project is finally nearing completion.
Most everything has been returned to stock form aside from the 4 link rear coilover suspension and a few other odds and ends. Next on the list entails lowering the front end and adding power steering along with a smaller steering wheel to enhance the drivability of the Camaro.
Power is supplied from the stock 327 small block, which has been upgraded with 202 heads, a mild cam, and an Edelbrock carburetor. A set of headers and a dual exhaust system complete the package. The factory TH350 transmission has also been upgraded with a 2500 RPM stall converter.
