This 1968 Cutlass was an eBay purchase. When Chad went to pick it up, it was sitting in a field severely rusted. After inspecting the 1968 Cutlass, he managed to get the trunk lid open to find a dual snorkel air cleaner. Chad’s wife was with him at the time, and he told her that he had goosebumps.
She underwent a ten-year rotisserie restoration. Chad located a four-door low-mileage car in Massachusetts around the same time the disassembly started. He purchased that car, as well flew out, and drove it back home in an ice storm. He had the A.m. radio going the whole way, and the only thing they had to stop and get was one windshield wiper. Chad removed the entire floor plan back to the rear bumper from the four-door & installed it in the convertible. The trunk lid and many other components made the transfer as well.
The engine is a 1969 455 Toronado motor board 60 over, mated it to Hurst five-speed.
The 1968 Cutlass has a tic-toc-tack and a rare standard floor console. Foose wheels, BMW blue pearl on the bottom, and Cadillac pearl white on the top.
Chad plans on driving her as much as possible.
