Camaro guy here! Chris just loves Camaros! All years but 1st gen are his favorite. Chris bought this 1968 Camaro from a man who owned it since he was 16, it was his first car, and for a total of 42 years, he owned it!
So, it makes the rebuild a special one for Chris. Pro-Touring is the direction this build is going. He started by replacing both rear quarters, the Complete floor pan, and the trunk pan. Then they installed Tubular control arms, power disc brake setup, Tilt Steering column, and new posi rear end with 373 gears. Then after much consideration, Chris pulled a perfectly running 350 and did my first LS Swap. They installed an LQ9 6.0 and a 4l60e of a Cadillac Escalade. Chris wants to install Adjustable Shocks for that Low Stance and then he will paint it Black Cherry with White Stripes. This one is a keeper. He has a lot of them and made the mistake of selling them, not this one!!
This car has LQ9 6.0 with headers and a 4l60e transmission. Plug and play LS Harness, all new interior wiring also.
Chris plans on installing LS Swapped, Super Sport, 3rd owner since New.
