This 1970 Chevelle began life as a 350/350 Chevelle Malibu but has since undergone a serious transformation.
Dan P’s brother first bought this car in the late 1980s, and Dan himself took possession of the car after his brother’s passing due to cancer. Dan has vowed to finish rebuilding this Chevelle in his brother’s honor.
My brother owned many cars over the years, but this is the one he always kept. I’m honored to continue his legacy.
The build is subtle yet clean, being transformed over time as a pro-touring spec build. It now has a Dart 400ci generation 4 block with billet heads, forged internals, roller valve train, and a 144in^3 supercharger. While it uses the stock TH350 transmission, it has been rebuilt with a streetable torque converter.
The project is close to completion, with Dan indicating there is still some work to complete. Once he is finished, he plans to regularly use his 1970 Chevelle tribute for street, track, and shows alike.
