Frank’s been working on this 1967 Nova since he bought it on the internet in 2019. He’s always loved the Chevy II look and wanted to keep the old school hotrod look.
This example had a fairly clean body and sheet metal but it needed to have the interior and engine refreshed. He decided to restore the interior in the factory style rather than aftermarket but upgraded the stock engine considerably.
“I love the way it makes me feel when I’m behind the wheel and people give me the thumbs up.”

This 1967 Nova currently has a small block 350 with Edelbrock aluminum heads / intake manifold and a Comp cam and rockers. Fuel is supplied through the Holley 650 CFM double pumper carburetor and spark is provided via MSD ignition. Doug’s 1-3/4 inch headers let the exhaust breathe properly.
The transmission is a TH350 unit with a Boss Hog 2800 RPM stall converter and Richmond 3.73 gears. Frank has also added a shift kit and a B&M shifter for the final touch.
“The final result is a sweet sounding and quick little old school hot rod!!!”

Where Frank takes this 1967 Nova from here is uncertain. He is considering adding a Holley Sniper EFI system and getting away from the carburetor and has also started looking into upgrading suspension components to take the Nova to the next level in handling.
