Gary C’s 1966 Nova

Built From The Ground Up

Gary C’s 1966 Nova

A Head Turner! This stunning 1966 Nova captured Gary C’s attention about seven years ago after a long hiatus with muscle cars.

It was a pro-bracket racer at the time Gary purchased it, and he was appreciative of all the goodies that came along with it.

He has since modified the Nova to be a pro-street car which he both drags and street drives.

“What makes it special is it took me about 28 years to get back into it after raising 5 kids, and the car turns heads everywhere I go.”

– Gary C.

It is currently running with a 408 cid block rated to 730hp with a trusty Powerglide transmission, which nets it a quarter mile time of 10.14 naturally aspirated and as low as 9.73 on a 100 shot of nitrous.

Future plans for this Nova include freshening up some of the moldings and trim, otherwise Gary will continue to make passes at the strip.
