Greg C’s 1969 Chevelle Malibu

Built From The Ground Up

Greg C’s 1969 Chevelle Malibu

When this 1969 Chevelle popped up during a casual internet search, Greg fell in love at first sight. He knew he had to have it.

This 1969 Chevelle Malibu was previously used for drag racing in the past, having a 454 big block bored out to a 468, it also came equipped with nitrous and was paired to a typical Turbo 400 transmission.

Greg’s goals for the car were to turn into a road-going resto-mod for his enjoyment, but he changed his mind a bit and decided to complete a frame off restoration instead. He plans to replace the tired transmission with a 4L80E overdrive unit and will have the engine rebuilt.

“My father has always been a car guy and he has taught me many things about cars. I told him I was interested in buying a 1969 Chevelle and has been a part of the entire process. My wish is to finish the build and cruise with my dad.”
