Jared G, Owner of Mile High Muscle, built this 1967 Chevelle for one of his clients.
The client already had a 1969 Chevelle daily driver but wanted something a bit more wild, and thus this 1967 Chevelle restomod was created to fill that need. Now he has the best of both worlds with a nice ’69 daily driver and an award winning 1967 Chevelle show car!
Some of the more unique aspects of the build include shaved drip rails and a chrome window trim delete to give it a more sinister appearance. Originally a small block car from the factory, Jared and the client chose to go with a tuned up 427 big block to power this Chevelle instead.
“Although not originally a big block car, the 427 engine was a dealer option that year, so I feel the engine swap is justified.
Jared G
Just wait for the customer’s ’69 Chevelle which was originally a 396, was swapped to a 572 but will soon be a 632!”
The car is attending as many shows as are available and they hope it wins many more awards to come. In the very near future the pair will be upgrading to an Art Morrison GT Sport chassis to make the car less of a restomod and more of a pro-tourer.
