Jim H’s 1964 Chevelle Malibu SS

Built From The Ground Up

Jim H’s 1964 Chevelle Malibu SS

Jim acquired this true 1964 Chevelle Malibu SS fairly recently in October 2019. It has been swapped to a 396 big block, but otherwise had just come off a factory restoration at the time.

Upon inspection, Jim realized that it didn’t appear to have any patch panels anywhere on the car, all the fit and finish of the panels were nice and straight, not perfect but what one would expect from a 1964 Chevelle.

Jim plans on adding some coilovers and drop spindles to get the stance just right, but other than that simply dressing up the engine bay and some period correct dog dish wheels and redline tires. Power steering is also likely on the list of upgrades to come.
