Joe G’s 1967 Chevelle

Built From The Ground Up

Joe G’s 1967 Chevelle

Joes 1967 Chevelle was a graduation gift from his grandfather back in 1981.

His grandfather bought it new in 1967 and gave it to him as an early graduation gift back in 1981. He graduated in 1983, and his grandfather gave him a choice, the Chevelle or a 65 Chevy pickup. He was going to pick the truck, but his buddy showed him a Hot Rod mag with a 67 Chevelle on the cover. That sealed the deal!

As with all classics, they’re always a work in progress. Joe got it painted about ten years ago and is in the process of getting the interior redone. The motor is a stock 283 with a 3-speed manual transmission.

An eternal cruiser. It’s known as ” The Cruising Vessel.” He re-lives his youth, remembers good times with his old high school buddies, and has created many family memories in his 67. That is what has made it special over the past 40 years.

The feeling of yesterday that he can almost touch, see, smell, and hear every time he gets behind the wheel. He’s going to continue to keep it going and restore what he can with what he got.

"The ease of locating what I'm looking for and the cost compared to other restoration companies/websites"

-Joe G
