John M. Jr 1966 Nova

Built From The Ground Up

John M. Jr 1966 Nova

This 1966 Nova has been in John’s family since it was brand new. His uncle was the original owner for several years before selling it to John’s father in 1970.

While it was his father’s on paper, John would be the primary driver of the Nova for quite some time. After being discharged from the Navy in 1973, John installed the current 327/350hp short block and M22 4-speed transmission that the Nova still retains to this day. Once he got married, the 1966 Nova was officially given to John and it was now fully his.

He’s held on to the Nova for the past 50 years and kept it in great shape. Over the years, he’s also added front disc brakes, an aftermarket dash/gauges, rally wheels, and a new paint job in 1985.

He intends to continue driving and enjoying the Nova for years to come.
