This 1972 Camaro SS was purchased in 1981 by John’s father Kevin. It needed some work, which he took care of, then making it his daily driver. After daily driver duty, it was passed along to each one of his three sons for a time. During that timeframe, it was in an accident and parked for a couple of years. Kevin then decided to restore the car and bring it back to its former glory, only better! The Camaro got some new paint, a new interior, and a new 350 engine from Jasper.
So yes, this Camaro has been passed down 3 generations. Before John took full ownership in 2019, he drove the car through college. Then, passing it on to his next brother. After that, it sat in storage for years.
John relocated the car from Louisiana to St. Augustine Florida in 2019 and has been showing it at car shows, festivals, and cruise-ins. The car is in perfect condition in John’s eyes and holds the legacy of his father. So he has no plans to sell it, or change anything. John just enjoys dropping the windows, and driving by the beach side, or through some scenery, to enjoy the sound of the car!
