Johnny P’s 1968 Chevelle

Built From The Ground Up

Johnny P’s 1968 Chevelle

Johnny bought this 1968 Chevelle at an auction. He found out after he bought it, that it was in really bad shape. Everything was covered up to make it look good enough to sell.

He had it restored from the ground up, everything from nuts and bolts to the new vinyl top and all the other places. It looks so good now. His wife and he feel like they are teenagers again, both of them are in their early 70s. They drive it anywhere and everywhere. Out to eat, visiting friends or car shows.

The 1968 Chevelle has a new GM crate 454 big block, pushing around 500 hp and approximately 500 foot-pounds of torque at the rear. The transmission is a TCI with a 2500 stall convertor, as well as a 10-bolt Yukon posi.

The color is Hugger Orange and has the stripes painted on it. Everyone that sees it remarks that the color is fabulous. They have chrome and stainless steel everywhere possible.

No modifications are planned for the 1968 Chevelle, but car shows are a must, as well as driving it around for pleasure and for everyone to see.

"Service was fantastic. Looked through one of your catalogs and saw items that I liked and wanted to put on my car. I liked all the parts that I purchased through your company."
