This past summer Kent H. purchased his 1968 Camaro through an online auction. At the last minute, he bid an extra dollar and won the auction at a fair price. Kent picked up the car and learned interesting facts about the car. The original owner had passed away, and his family was selling his cars. Kent understood how important this car was to him when he found that the car had been stored in a room and had a wall built around it. The 1968 Camaro had been untouched for over 30 years. The wall was removed in order for Kent to get the car out.
The 1968 Camaro is an RS/SS, all original, number matching, including the color.
After removing it from the building they changed the fuel tank, rebuilt the carb, replaced some brake lines, and replaced the tires. The car runs great and the odometer only shows 98,000 miles on it.
It still has the original interior and glass. An excellent find!
Since Kent got the classic car home, he cleaned it up, changed a few parts back to the original, and is enjoying it very much. Kent’s Camaro is in excellent condition; after all these years, there is no rust. It is amazing that it was untouched for all those years.
