Kevin’s very first car was a 1975 El Camino that his father passed down to him. He loved that car, but that was 43 years ago, and he no longer has it. Finally, years later, he was able to purchase another one. This 1969 El Camino, and he couldn’t be happier.
The 1969 El Camino is 75% restored, and he has most of the parts to finish it. It is also a great opportunity to teach his son about restoring muscle cars as he is interested in learning.
He considers himself blessed to have another one. Unfortunately, he purchased this 1969 El Camino from parents who sold their son’s car after he passed away. He will keep them up to date on the restoration with pictures as he goes. To help keep their son’s memory alive.
The engine is a built 350, and the transmission is a Hurst four-speed that was matched and installed by a speed shop.
The paint job on this El Camino is incredible. The gentleman who was restoring it was in the military, and he had a flaming flag painted around the whole front end.
Kevin would love to go to car shows and take this beautiful 1969 El Camino to them. He also has a 1947 Jeep Willys, modified with a 1957 chevy 283. They will look great parked together.
The best part is this El Camino will someday be passed down to his son.
