Larry originally purchased the car in 1979, it was an ex-drag car with a 427 and a 4 speed.
He sold it in 1983 in decent condition, with a small block in it for $3000. The new owner blew the motor , and it sat. Larry purchased the Camaro back from the same guy he sold it to for only $350 (it was rough!).
It has been a slow process, but Larry finally drove the car for the first time about five years ago. He says as of this writing, this the car is 99.9 percent done. It has a built 427 and a 4 speed again.
All old school, like Larry likes it! Although he says he may possibly change the rear brakes to discs. Maybe even add a stereo!
