Lou got this 1967 Camaro all the way back in 1981 for a bargain. It blew the engine near his shop location in New Jersey, and he picked it up from the owner for the $117 towing & storage fee.
Unfortunately Lou did have to let it sit for awhile before digging into it, finally getting to this 1967 Camaro 15 years later. He did have a good reason though, as he had too many other Camaros already apart that were being worked on!
“Well I had to have this car because with that I have all 3 first generation Camaros”

Once he made time for this one, he rebuilt a 327 small block and addressed the body work that it needed. The factory Powerglide was also exchanged for a TH350 transmission.
He hopes to show his grandson a thing or two about old school muscle when he’s ready.
“Well hope when my grand son is ready to drive let him see how great these cars where and still are.”
