Back in 1999 Lynn found this 1969 Camaro in the for sale section of the newspaper, having been in a wreck but in otherwise decent condition. It needed some work but was still a good base to start with.
Lynn found someone to perform the necessary body work to bring the Camaro back, but that person dragged the job on for about 4 years and made some mistakes along the way. Losing patience, Lynn took the car back and eventually found a friend a few years later that could fix the mistakes and complete the 1969 Camaro’s body restoration.
This trusted friend did an outstanding job bringing the Camaro back to life and before long it was ready for a fresh coat of paint. Unfortunately, before it could go in for paint a house fire burned the friend’s house so they could no longer accommodate painting the Camaro and Lynn would have to source a paint job elsewhere.
As luck would have it, the friend knew just the right man for the job: the person who had taught them everything they knew regarding the restoration trade. The Camaro would be in good hands for this final stage of the build.
Lynn’s Camaro has a 350 small block with dual Edelbrock 500 carburetors, mated to a TH400 to deliver the power to the pavement.
