Marsha H’s husband Charlie bought her this 1967 Camaro as a body with a bunch of sheetmetal and parts boxes from a Craigslist ad.
The previous owner had purchased the 1967 Camaro from the original owner and stripped the car down in prep for a restoration. However, it sat in his barn for the next decade until Marsha and Charlie got their hands on it. Luckily for them, this meant that they had carte blanche to do whatever they wanted to the old Camaro.
It now has a rebuilt Vortech LS1 with a FiTech Ultimate LS package, a bigger cam, as well as headers. The 4L60E transmission in use has a 2400 stall converter and they went with a Currie 9 inch rear end.
Other modifications to the 1967 Camaro include tubular control arms, subframe connectors, tilt steering, power windows, intermittent wipers, and a Vintage Air system. The finishing touch is the House of Kolor Apple Red candy base coat over black with Magenta pearl in the clear coat.
Now that this 1967 Camaro has been finished as of summer 2020, Marsha plans on simply enjoying cruising and showing off the fruits of their labor. Every aspect of the Camaro, down to the nuts & bolts, has been either replaced with new or reconditioned to as-new.
