Michael M’s 1972 Nova

Built From The Ground Up

Michael M’s 1972 Nova

Michael purchased this 1972 Nova from a good friend of his in 2017. After a few years of ownership, he decided that it would receive a frame-off restoration, his first ever. He began the resto-mod process in November 2019.

By March 2020 the resto-mod had been completed. This 1972 Nova is now equipped with a 350 small block bored .04 over, 700R4 transmission, an Eagle rotating assembly, full Edelbrock top end kit, and Holley Sniper EFI fuel injection to top it all off.

He would still like to add power windows, power locks, and a Vintage Air kit for convenience and comfort. After all, if he is going to continue to use this Nova, it could use these items to make it a good, comfortable street car.

Even though it was Michael’s first restoration, he did all of the work himself with the exception of the transmission rebuild which was out of his hands. Otherwise, he’s replaced every nut and bolt, and even painted the whole 1972 Nova out in his yard.

"All the parts were reasonably priced and shipping was incredibly fast."
