Michael M’s 1972 Nova

Built From The Ground Up

Michael M’s 1972 Nova

Michael M got this 1972 Nova back in 2000 to relive memories of the original ’72 he bought new from the factory.

“It takes me back to 1972 when I first bought my car from the dealer with accessories that I could pick from a list to make it a one of a kind that no one else had.”

Michael

The Nova has had a “factory” restoration with a couple of modifications to the drive train and the suspension over the years. It currently runs a 350ci small block making 330 horsepower, and he’s had the original TH350 swapped out for the more stout TH400 transmission.

“I love driving this car around McHenry County and people giving me a thumbs up and flashing their lights.”

Michael

Future plans include the possibility of a supercharger.

"I know that the parts I ordered fit perfectly as if they came from the factory"
