Michael bought this Chevelle when he was stationed at Laughlin AFB in TX. He bought this car in ’86 from a lady who moved to a retirement center and wanted something smaller and more economical. So it worked out well for the both of them.
The ’70 Chevelle has it’s original big block 396 still, with a Torker II intake manifold and exhaust headers added for a little extra punch and sound. The Chvevelle has air conditioning and a rear window defroster, two nice options that were often skipped back in the day. Michael just recently refurbished the car after being stored in a barn for about 20 years, while he was completing his military service (…and we thank you for that!). This is going to be his sons car someday, and then his sons, son after that. So this car will be staying in the family!
Michael’s future plans are taking it to car shows and showing his grandson how to work on it. Which is a great asset to have!
