On Michaels’s 35th birthday, he was reading the paper and it said 1967 Camaro for sale. He called and a young kid answered and said it was in an accident. He asked how much he was asking for it and he stated $900 is that too much? Of course not, He said he’ll be right there.
This car was purchased as his 35th birthday present and 28 years later he still has it.
This car was part of the Chevrolet pacesetter sale and promotion. It is an original number matching car, and even though his family was dirt track racers he still built it completely stock. It is a 327 210 hp with a Powerglide transmission and original rear.
Even though the Dash 1967 Camaro was ordered before the pacesetter sale, the original receipt indicates they were given the discount even though they picked it up six days before the sale began.
His little helper was his son. He has promised he will never sell it and it will be his one day. Many of the parts on this car for this transformation came from Ground Up SS396.
He plans on just keeping this car stock in original and maintaining it in perfect condition.
