The ball started rolling 16 years ago in 2004 for Murray when he found this 1968 Chevelle in Ohio.
He didn’t start to rebuild it until 2007. That is when he pulled it down to the frame and started to do a full restoration. He replaced the motor, the transmission, and some body panels.
It now has a 468 BBC with a 700R4 trans and 3.37 gears. He installed Ride Tech air suspension for a better ride. The interior got an upgrade as well and was redone with a new Dakota Digital Dash and Vintage Air System.
Murray’s favorite thing about this car is it’s the same vehicle that he had back in high school.
Now for the future, he is thinking of going with an LS 6.0 turbo!
