P.J. B’s 1977 Nova

Built From The Ground Up

P.J. B’s 1977 Nova

PJ found this base model 1977 Nova around 2012 and it was the same color as his dad’s old 1976 Nova from when he was a kid.

His dad’s old Nova was a blue inline six automatic base model, and coincidentally so is this 1977 model. PJ originally found another 1977 Rally Nova with a 305 V8 and a 4-speed transmission that he really wanted, but it was too rusted out to even attempt to save.

His goal is to essentially take what was his dad’s old car, but to change everything over to the running gear of the Rally Nova – small block V8, 4 speed manual, black interior with bucket seats. The plan is to begin with the drivetrain, then the interior, and finally a new coat of paint.

The fact that this 1977 Nova is going to be completely redone to PJ’s specifications is what makes it special to him.

"They carry what we need."
