Phillip Williams 1981 El Camino

Built From The Ground Up

Phillip Williams 1981 El Camino

Phillip has always wanted this type of car. A nice El Camino muscle car! His neighbor had this 1981 El Camino for sale. It took Phillip a long time to be able to get it, but he did.

Phillips grandpa had 3 El Camino’s when he was growing up, so that is how he fell in love with El Caminos. It brings back memories of his grandpa.

The 1981 El Camino he got was a stock 305 engine with over 300,000 miles on it. The lower end was going out, and it was leaking oil, so he took it to the shop.

He had a brand new 305 put in it. It has close to 2500 miles on the new motor, and it runs great now.

The wheels he has on the car are hard to find and also make it stand out! Even though it needs a paint job, people still tell him how much they like the car!

He plans on getting it re-painted gunmetal gray sometime down the road. He is going to Rhino line the bed of it as well
