Raymond R’s 1969 Camaro SS

Built From The Ground Up

Raymond R’s 1969 Camaro SS

Ray made a retirement promise to himself many years ago. It was to get one of these…

The car came to Ray mostly stock as shown by the window sticker. The L-78 396/375 has been rebuilt at least twice and overbored, but otherwise it’s as stock as possible. It is mated to a Muncie 4-speed trans, and power is routed to the rear wheels through a 3.31 geared 12-bolt Posi differential; an odd gear choice given all the other high performance parts. To this point everything done to the car is as it would have appeared in 1969. Ray’s Camaro SS is finished in Dusk Blue with a white convertible top and white hockey stick stripes.

Ray’s Camaro is a very high quality driver. He plan is to maintain and upkeep it to very high standards. He hopes to take it to car events and various competitions as well.

"Great, as I have been successful at getting sometimes hard to get parts for my car; a rare front driver's side convertible cocktail shaker in excellent condition for example!"
