Romido R’s 1980 El Camino

Built From The Ground Up

Romido R’s 1980 El Camino

Some projects take time, and in Romido’s case this 1980 El Camino took ten years to complete. That’s because of the amount of custom work put into every aspect of the build.

Romido’s had this 1980 El Camino since it was brand new, but he’s only (fairly) recently began his project to restore it back in 2010. It currently runs a 350 small block and a TH350 transmission, but he would like to acquire and swap in a 6.2L Chevy crate motor eventually.

He has customized the interior with his own personal styling, added aftermarket American Racing wheels, Wilwood disc brakes, and a completely custom paint job.

“it’s a work of art I painted it myself”
