Ron bought this 1968 Nova sight unseen from a 72 year old retired dentist clear across the country in New Jersey. Ron’s from Arizona, so it could have been a risky move not only in the “blind” purchase itself, but also transporting it to him.
Thankfully, everything worked out perfectly and the 1968 Nova SS was beyond expectations. It’s been around the block, too, as it was originally a New Mexico car, then a Texas car, onto New Jersey and finally back west to Arizona. It has taken quite the journey since it was built!
This 1968 Nova was delivered to Tony with a 496 big block that came equipped with Profiler aluminum heads, a Quick Fuel carburetor, 12 bolt rear end with 3.73 gearing, and a nice full dual stainless exhaust system. Tony loves the horsepower and pure muscle this setup represents. Oh, and the beautiful paint and new interior too.
He’s considering installing an aftermarket AC system, as he does live in the Arizona heat, and it could use a power steering upgrade, as it is currently a manual steering car and it does take quite a bit to muscle it around a parking lot.
