Sean K’s 1962 Nova

Built From The Ground Up

Sean K’s 1962 Nova

The 1962 Nova isn’t quite as common as the later year cars, but Sean K wanted something a little different. He picked this Chevy 2 from a dealership in 2020 and has been going through it since.

It needs a little work, but that was part of the reason he was drawn to this one, and he’s always had a soft spot for the 1962 Novas.

“It’s just okay needs some work, but that’s why I got it, I like to work on cars!”

Sean

This example isn’t running the original powertrain, as it currently has a cammed 327 small block mated to a TH400 transmission with a 2800 RPM stall and a B&M shifter. He intends to upgrade the rear with a better differential and a 4 link setup in the future.
