Shane L’s 1966 Nova

Built From The Ground Up

Shane L’s 1966 Nova

Shane purchased this excellent condition turnkey 1966 Nova from a classic car dealership in 2019. Although it has been fully restored and essentially needs nothing, Shane has some significant plans in store for the future.

He is currently in the process of building a 383 stroker engine to the tune of about 500 hp, which will be running a fuel injection system in place of a carburetor. The factory rear leaf springs will be discarded in favor of a 4 link rear suspension setup and a new posi-traction rear end. An obligatory wheel and tire upgrade will follow suite. His most visible upgrade is planned to be a new 2 inch cowl induction hood.

I’m grateful that I own this piece of history and that I will be able to pass it on to my son when he gets older.
