Thomas’s parents bought the 1984 Monte Carlo brand new in august 1984. They as a family drove to a Chevrolet dealer in Alabama to buy it. It has been in his family since the day they bought it.
The 1984 Monte Carlo has a 305 V-8 High output. 3 speed TH350 automatic. All original never rebuilt. Brand new dual exhaust with walker Magna flow mufflers. New replacement headliner.
The dark blue paint was only available for the 1983-1984 model years. The dark blue interior with bucket seats was only available for 1984. The TH350 transmission was the only transmission available for the 1983 & 1984 SS models. From 1985-87 4 speed auto with overdrive.
Planning on repairing the A/C and replacing the door window rubber and or felt. He’ll be replacing blown lights for the inside dome and trunk. Right now, he needs an alternator.
